glory.
Psalm 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Every day I'm at my desk by 6:30 a.m. I wake up at 5:10 and by 6:15 am pulling onto Broadway in downtown Nashville. The early sunrise surprised me when I first moved to Tennessee. Nashville is on the eastern edge of central time, so during the summer the sun sometimes pops up at 5 a.m. (Sleeping in is difficult.) To be presented with such radiant colors as I start my day is a gift.

I was driving to my cousin's house last night when I looked up through the windshield and just saw this beautiful image staring me in the face. The sun was beginning to set, so its colors were a pastel red-orange tint, and there were two birds sitting on a phone line faceing each other. I'm planning on posting it this week on my blog if you want to stop by and take a look, but your picture reminded me of the shot I got last night. I was just amazed by the light and coloring I captured. And the birds were just the cutest little accents to the image. The colors in the clouds in your photo looks amazing, but I'm seriously glad I don't have your gas prices! :p
ReplyDeleteDowntown Nash prices are at least ten cents higher than my neighborhood. I think they were at $2.51 a couple days ago.
