Last week (and this week) Kroger has Pillsbury/Grands rolls on sale. Plus I had coupons, so this morning I enjoyed a little flashback to my childhood with some Pillsbury Orange Sweet Rolls.

They kept me a little less angry when Miles knocked over and broke one of my picture frames I had in queue to hang in my front room. No bueno because I paid $5 for it and had to drive up to Madison to buy it. But that's what I get for leaving things at cat-level I suppose.

Anne and Sam are in Nashville now! I haven't met up with them yet but I'm sure they'd like a little time to settle. Jennifer is downtown at Bridgestone Arena this afternoon. Taylor Swift is down there doing an acoustic set at 2 p.m. and is in the middle of her 13-hour Meet & Greet (8 a.m. to 9 p.m.) which is free and open to the public. Jennifer is brave for mingling with all the country crazies.

It is hot in Nashville. It's 92/feels like 95 right now. Very humid. I just took a 1.5-hour nap and am doing laundry and drinking iced tea. This afternoon: reading and painting and making some cards to mail. This next week is busy, but a fun kind of busy. I'm looking forward to it.
