The Nashville bus service, MTA suffered losses in the flood and services have been suspended indefinitely. Nashville volunteers and prisoners are working quickly to sandbag around the Metro's second water treatment plant. The first plant is flooded and out of service. If the second goes, it's bottled water for us all. Everyone is encouraged to cut water use in half, at least.
Area shelters report they have plenty of supplies and food.
Nashville relief efforts need monetary donations.
