I think technology has really changed things. Thanks to Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, people are seeing the scenes from Nashville in ways they never could have 10 years ago. Any search for "Nashville flood" on YouTube or the photo sharing site Flickr will yield hundreds of results. Here's a video by Michael Deppisch, set to a song by The Album Leaf, that chronicles some of the scenes from the past couple of days.
